Pay and Hours: 

• $18-22 an hour (Hourly rate depends on experience full time)

• Work hours are 7:00 to 5:30 four days a week

Responsibilities: 

• Handling horses for farriers, and vets

• Duties included: feeding turnout, organizing barns, stall cleaning, pasture work, grooming, bathing, and horse handling

• Maintenance duty’s on farm such as maintaining alleyways, pastures, weed whacking, mowing, riding ring and many more that comes with farm

Experience:

• Horse Handling: 2 years (Required)

• Ability to Commute: Lewisberry, PA 17339 (Preferred)

• Work Location: In person
   

Job description:

Looking for someone to join our private horse breeding farm Stone Jug Ranch. Must be an experienced individual with passion for thoroughbreds / horses and organization skills. Previous experience working in active barn, caring for horses, foaling mares, weanlings and live cover breeding. Handling horses for farriers, and vets. Duties included: feeding turnout, organizing barns, stall cleaning, pasture work, grooming, bathing, and horse handling. Also we have some other animals on farm. Maintenance duty’s on farm such as maintaining alleyways, pastures, weed whacking, mowing, riding ring and many more that comes with farm. Work hours are 7:00 to 5:30 four days a week. Hourly rate depends on experience. Health benefit / vacation package available. Must be reliable.
